The general list in English,
opensuse, generates some 150 messages per day on all topics, but most lists are more
specialized. Read descriptions of all the lists, with links to the list archives, at
http://en.opensuse.org/Communicate. Each list has a mailto link to subscribe to that list.
You must subscribe to a list to post a question.
The list archives, located at http://lists.opensuse.org are searchable via the Search box.
This is a gigantic improvement over the old SUSE list archives. You can also browse the
monthly archives, which are sorted by thread. To search just suse-linux-e, change the site
to lists.opensuse.org/opensuse.
