TIP
If YaST detects the presence of another operating system, it will ask whether you want to
replace that OS with openSUSE or dual boot both. YaST will use its partitioning tool to
shrink the existing partition and allow openSUSE to install. If you have two physical hard
drives and want to install Linux on the second drive, it will format that drive accordingly.
See ???Dual Booting, Partitioning, and Other Worries,??? in Chapter 2, and Chapter 11,
???Going Cross-Platform,??? for more information.

Installing Software Packages
The Expert page tells you the basic types of packages it will install. You may still want to
peruse the Software section to check for specific packages in which you may be interested.
You can also change your mind about your basic desktop (or decide to install both if
you??™re so inclined) here.
