Click Close to return to the Customize
menu. You can then drag the new icon where you want it on the toolbar.
If an item you want on the toolbar doesn??™t have a default icon (or maybe you have a
different one in mind), click Modify and Change Icon. A selection of icons will appear, and
you have the option to import any 26x26 pixel image and apply it to your command. Use
the Modify drop-down menu to create new groups of icons with separators or to rename or
delete items from your toolbar.

Click OK to return to your document. Done! To see your word count, click the new Word
Count icon.
Using OpenOffice.org
For the most part, this is an interface that should be familiar to anyone who has used a
word processor. A few things are different about OOo that may take some getting used to,
especially if you are migrating from Microsoft Office. Some of these are shown in Figure
9.
