"openSUSE Linux Unleashed"

Integration with Last.fm
Submit your listening habits to Last.fm with a Rhythmbox plugin. Go to Edit, Plugins.
Enter your Last.fm username and password, and the plugin will notify Last.fm.
Plugging In Your Portable Player
Rhythmbox will pull in songs from portable players. Plug in your player, and go to Music,
Scan Removable Media. Save any playlist to a portable player with the Save as File option
in the Playlist menu.
Burning CDs
This is a two step process. Assemble a playlist or gather some songs in a Play Queue. Rightclick
on the list name on the left side of the player and select Create Audio CD (or just click
the silver CD icon in the toolbar). Insert your blank CD, and Rhythmbox does the rest.
XMMS
The most mature all-purpose media player for Linux (and all X Window Systems) is the X
Multimedia System (XMMS). XMMS modeled its GUI after Winamp, the popular media
player for Windows.
Its display is very modular, so you can have as much (or as little) eye candy to visually
enhance your audio experience. Figure 10.5 shows what happens if you display everything
in a default installation.
