"openSUSE Linux Unleashed"

As always,
CHAPTER 10 Sights, Sounds, and Other Fun Things 208
GStreamer can serve as the backend of any or all of the players here, including the KDEbased
Kaffeine, and you can generally choose your engine in the preferences of the tool
you are using.
These players are the more popular choices, but are not the only movie players available
in openSUSE Linux.
Totem
Totem is the GNOME default movie player, and as such is pretty easy to use. It plays
DVDs and ordinary film and video clips. You can resize the screen manually by dragging
the edge(s) of the player, or use the View menu to adjust the screen using various
methods. Press 2 to see the clip in double-size and F to view the movie full screen. The
Escape key returns the display to the standard size.
You can take a ???still photo??? of the current screen (helpful if you??™re going to upload a clip
to a video-sharing website) by pressing Ctrl+S or going to the Edit menu and selecting Take
Screenshot (Figure 10.8). You can save the PNG screenshot to your Desktop (the default),
or to another directory.
