"openSUSE Linux Unleashed"

It uses a tabbed interface, so different aspects of the player don??™t interfere with
each other.
When you open Kaffeine from the Multimedia, Video Player KDE menu, you see a set of
choices (Figure 10.9), including playing audio or video CDs, encoding (ripping) audio
CDs, and playing DVDs.
CHAPTER 10 Sights, Sounds, and Other Fun Things 210
FIGURE 10.9 The Kaffeine media player for KDE handles several different tasks.
Playback is a simple affair. As with Totem, you can size your screen any way you like,
either by dragging the player window (which can lead to some distortion of the image) or
using the View menu tools. These menus are a little more complicated than Totem??™s
(there is another layer of Enable Auto Resize to get to the double- and triple-sized views),
but still do the trick.
TIP
Not to discourage your office productivity, but Kaffeine comes equipped with a Boss
button for when you are watching video clips. Changing desktops or minimizing
Kaffeine automatically pauses video playback. Restore Kaffeine to pick up where you
left off.
