These bottles will be created once by the installer and used by other
applications as needed.
Insert your install CD, and follow the prompts to install your application. At the end of
the process, you??™ll be asked whether you want to install other applications or exit the
installer. If you??™re installing Microsoft Office, you??™ll want to pick up the relevant service
packs before exiting entirely.

Running Crossover
Crossover integrates well with your favorite desktop environment. Go to the Applications
menu, then Windows Applications (not Crossover??”this is the administrative part, where
you install and manage your applications). Select from the menu of installed programs.
Opening Word gives you a very standard interface, complete with Help panel, and the
standard invitation to help Microsoft??™s customer satisfaction program in the taskbar. Click
the Open File icon, and it opens in your ~/Documents folder (not the fake My Documents
directory, which would be empty).
