To import a
calendar from iCalShare, copy the link as discussed in the Evolution section. In Sunbird, go
to the File menu and select Subscribe to Remote Calendar. The Create New Calendar wizard
appears. Choose On the Network in the first screen, and click Next. In the next screen,
choose the iCalendar (ICS) format, and paste the URL from iCalShare in the Location box.
Click Next, and name the calendar and assign a color to events coming from that calendar.
Use the same wizard to color-code your own internal events, should you choose.
Double-click in an empty area of the Tasks window to add a task to your list. You can
optionally specify a location, a due date, a category, and a calendar to associate with the
task. Click the More button to add a detailed description, Status labels (a.k.a. progress
reports), alarms, and more.
Sending File Attachments
Some people get confused about email. ???If email is just text, and only text, how do people
send me fully formatted documents and all those family pictures???? The capability to
attach binary files is one of the extensions to SMTP that makes it more useful.
