The problem then is that all of the employees would
have to connect to the remote ISP to retrieve mail messages. Fetchmail helps solve this
problem.
Instead of having multiple individuals connect to the ISP to download their messages,
Fetchmail can be configured to download all of the messages at once and place them in
local mailboxes on the server. For companies that don??™t have a full-time Internet connection,
this can be a great savings.

The openSUSE mail configuration system allows you to utilize Fetchmail in this manner.
The email configuration utility (discussed in the next section) provides an easy interface
for configuring Fetchmail to perform these functions.
Email Server Configuration
Armed with the knowledge of how Linux email servers work, you are ready to start your
email configuration. Fortunately for us, the openSUSE email system incorporates configuring
the Postfix MTA and the Fetchmail MUA in one process.
The Mail Transfer Agent link in the Network Services section of YaST is where you need to
go to configure your email server settings.
