This feature is one piece that allows you to host multiple domains from one mail
server (the other piece is virtual domains, which will be discussed shortly).
Incoming Mail
The next step in the configuration wizard is the Incoming Mail window. This is the most
complicated of all the configuration windows, so we??™ll take things slowly here. The main
configuration window is shown in Figure 15.4.

There are several mail features that are configured in this one window:
. The method used to accept inbound messages
. The firewall configuration
. Whether or not to manually retrieve mail from a remote server
. The mailbox used to receive mail for the root account
. The MDA method used
. Creating local alias accounts
. Creating virtual domains
The following sections describe each of these configuration processes in detail.
Accepting Inbound Messages
The first item in the window is a checkbox for accepting remote SMTP connections.
Checking this box enables the Postfix server to listen for SMTP connections from remote
MTAs.
