"openSUSE Linux Unleashed"

This is
stored with the rest of your bookmarks. When you go to a Live Bookmark, it looks like a
folder with the orange icon, with headlines inside the folder. Click a link to go to the
permalinked page for that headline.
Opera reads webfeeds in a couple of ways. Subscribing to a feed for reading in a browser
window is as easy as clicking the XML button in the address line for a site. Opera will ask you
if you want to subscribe; click Yes, and the current headlines will appear. The display is somewhat
bland, as it uses the browser??™s e-mail interface (Figure 16.1), but click the link under the
headline, and the story will appear in a new tab. Opera will check for new headlines each
time it opens. By default, Opera will also check for new updates every three hours. This is
configurable for each feed in the Manage Feeds dialog box under the Feeds menu.
TIP
One advantage of the Opera email interface for webfeeds is that you can add a label
to an article for future reference. Select an article and click the Label icon. Mark it as
a to-do, as Valuable, or just Funny.
