In other browsers, you will need to set up the browser to use Akregator, or copy and paste
the URL for the feed into Akregator. In Firefox, for example, you have a pair of options.
You can edit your Firefox preferences (in the Feeds) section to Subscribe to Feed with an
application. Click Choose Application, and point to Akregator (/opt/kde3/share/applications/
kde/akregator). The next time you click on the orange icon, a new screen will
appear, asking if you want to subscribe using Akregator, or one of several online aggregators.
Make your selection, and you??™re done.
Regardless of the browser you use, you can always use the cut-and-paste method of
adding webfeeds. If you see a link to a feed on a website (usually marked with the orange
icon, occasionally with just a text link mentioning RSS or Atom), right-click on it and
choose Copy Link Location (or something similar, depending on the browser you??™re
using). Open Akregator and click the Star icon in the toolbar. This opens the New Feed
dialog. Paste the XML link in the Feed URL box and click OK.
