As new software packages are installed, they usually
include the appropriate man pages as part of the installation package. This makes it easy
to reference help for installed programs on the system.
The man pages are displayed using the man command. To get the man pages for the date
command, enter:
rich@testing:~> man date
You should see the man page for the date command displayed. There is lots of information
available in the man pages. The man page divides command information into separate
sections, as described in the Table 33.1.
