As with the Performance tab, you don??™t have many configuration options for this display, but
you can change it in more ways than the Performance tab. The View Update Speed menu has
entries that let you change how fast the display updates the statistics. The View Network Adapter
History menu contains options that let you change the graphical display to show other network
statistics. You can see the bytes sent (red), bytes received (yellow), and total bytes (green) on the
display.
Notice that the bottom third of Figure 1.7 contains text information about the network. You can
change the amount of information that you see in this area by choosing View Select Columns. The
resulting Select Networking Page Columns dialog box lets you choose the statistics you see in this
text data area. For example, you can choose to display the number of bytes sent or bytes received
in this area.
Managing Users
The Users tab tells you about the users currently logged into the system as shown in Figure 1.8. You
can determine the user??™s ID, status, client machine name, and session information. This information
is important when using certain command line utilities because you need to identify a particular
user.
