This command can keep unwary users from starting the service (even accidentally or through an

qc Queries the specified service for configuration information. The output from this command
includes service name, type, start type, error control, binary path name, load order group, tag,
display name, dependencies, and service start name.
qdescription [BufferSize] Queries the description for a service. You can specify an
optional buffer size argument for this command that defines the size of the buffer you??™ve set
aside for the description. When the buffer is too small, the utility returns a value that tells you
the minimum buffer size.
qfailure [BufferSize] Queries the actions taken by a service when a failure occurs. You
can specify an optional buffer size argument for this command that defines the size of the buffer
you??™ve set aside for the description. When the buffer is too small, the utility returns a value that
tells you the minimum buffer size.
qfailureflag [ServiceName] Queries the failure actions flag of the service.
