The automatic
selection feature chooses a language based on the current system setup. Consequently, if you use
multiple languages, you can change language setups and start a new copy of WinVi. The editor
automatically changes languages for you as long as it supports the language you??™re using.
Printing might not seem like such an important issue, but developers often print out their code
listings. The printing features of WinVi match those of Notepad in many respects. However, it
includes a two-column printout feature that can save a significant number of pages. You can also
have the editor add line numbers to the printout so you can discuss the code with someone else
over the telephone or email with greater ease.
If you want support for automation for your editor, WinVi includes keyboard macro support. You
can create short macros of tasks that you want performed and assign them to a key combination.
