include this argument, the utility modifies the first applicable interface. You can normally
obtain the information required for this entry using the IPConfig utility.
-d
Deletes the host specified by the Internet address. You may delete just a specific interface
by including the interface address. Delete all of the hosts by using the asterisk (*) wildcard.
-s
Adds a new host to the ARP table and associates the Internet address with the physical
(Ethernet) address. The resulting entry is permanent; you must manually delete it using the
-d
command line switch.
eth_addr
Specifies a physical address as 6 hexadecimal bytes separated by hyphens in the
form 00-AA-00-4F-2A-9C. You can obtain the physical address using the GetMAC utility.
-v
Displays information in verbose mode. In addition to the standard entries, the output also
includes all loopback interface entries.
