This option only works when you use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) authentication. You can only
use this option when you also specify the ??“a and ??“u options.
-b Prints the server certificate subject on screen. The utility retrieves this value from the certificate
sent by the server. This option only works when you use SSL authentication. You can
only use this option when you also specify the ??“a, ??“u, and -E options.
-R {None | Default | Proxy_Name} Specifies the HTTP proxy to use for a call. When you
set this option to None, RPCPing attempts to contact the RPC proxy directly. An input value of
Default uses the Internet Explorer settings on the client machine. RPCPing treats any other value
as the name of a specific HTTP proxy. The utility relies on a standard value of Default. You can
only use this option when you also specify the ??“a, ??“u, and -E options. In addition, you must set
the ??“t option to ncacn_http protocol. The RPCPing utility ignores this command line switch
when you specify the HTTP proxy as part of the ??“o option.
-E Restricts the test to using the RPC/HTTP proxy only. The ping doesn??™t reach the server.
