-un[encrypted] Specifies that the utility won??™t encrypt messages to the remote system. This
feature is helpful for diagnosing problems with the setup. However, it also represents a security
problem because all communication takes place as cleartext. The default setting encrypts all data
using NTLM or Kerberos keys.
-u[sername]:USERNAME Provides the username to the remote system. If you don??™t supply this
command line switch, the remote system prompts you for a username and password. You must
use this command line switch with the ??“password command line switch.
-p[assword]:PASSWORD Provides the user??™s password to the remote system. If you don??™t supply
this command line switch, the remote system prompts you for a username and password.
You must use this command line switch with the ??“username command line switch.
-t[imeout]:SECONDS Determines the maximum time that the command will execute in seconds.
This command line switch acts as a safety feature when working with a remote system that may not
respond. The default setting doesn??™t place any limit on the time the command can execute.
