You can specify the number of security principals to display as the
argument for this command line switch. Displays all of the object owners by supplying a value
of 0. The default setting displays 10 security principals.
-upn Displays the object??™s UPN.
Editing Existing Objects Using the DSMod Utility
The DSMod utility modifies existing objects within Active Directory. Each object requires different
input to modify the object. The DSMod utility supports the following common objects.
? computer
? contact
? group
? ou (organizational unit)
? user
? quota
All of these objects require some basic input to obtain the data. For example, you can expect to
provide a username. The following list provides the common inputs for each of the objects. See the
???Creating New Objects Using the DSAdd Utility??? section of the chapter for a description of the distinguished
name and security command line switches. The arguments for modifying an object are
essentially the same as the arguments for adding an object with the following exceptions. (Refer to
the ???Creating New Objects Using the DSAdd Utility??? subsections for details on individual objects.
