500 CHAPTER 20 MANAGING SYSTEM USERS
/ADDRESS Adds network and node address information to the output.
/CONTINUE Displays all of the Terminal Server information as continuous output, rather than
pausing after each screen. Use this option when you plan to redirect the output to a file.
Obtaining User Login Information with the QUser Utility
The QUser utility provides quick access to user login information. The information you receive
includes the username, session name, session identifier, state, amount of idle time, and the login
time. You can use this utility to quickly find orphaned logins (sessions that are started, but never
ended even though the user has stopped using the session). This utility uses the following syntax:
QUSER [username | sessionname | sessionid] [/SERVER:servername]
The following list describes each of the command line arguments.
username Specifies the login name of the user you want to query.
sessionname Specifies the name of the session you want to query. The default session name
is Console.
sessionid Specifies the number of the session you want to query.
/SERVER:servername Provides the name of a server. The default setting queries the local
machine.
