For example, you can decide whether to place the entire file path on the Clipboard, or just
the filename. You can also decide how to wrap filenames that contain spaces (or whether to wrap
them at all). The default setting relies on quotes, but you can use any character desired.

Checking File Integrity Using FCIV
Most network administrators are deeply concerned about the damage caused by crackers, viruses,
adware, spyware, and errant applications. In fact, the errant application causes considerably more
damage than most administrators know or will admit to when asked. The important issue is to realize
that damage does take place and have some method for detecting it. The File Checksum Integrity
Verifier (FCIV) from Microsoft creates a cryptographic hash (essentially a fingerprint) for the
files you specify. Use the utility as soon as you install the system or perform an update to create a
set of fingerprints for every system file. When you suspect that something has changed outside
your direct purview, you can run the utility again and compare the output to look for changes.
