xxcopy.com/index.htm. In fact, it??™s a good idea to go to the vendor Web site to obtain the
most current version of this utility.
The XXCopy utility comes in a number of flavors. All of these flavors support the standard
XCopy syntax described in the ???Performing Bulk File Transfers with the XCopy Utility??? section of
Chapter 14. Consequently, any batch file or script that relies on XCopy can use XXCopy today. In
addition to these standard command line switches, you have the option of using all of the XXCopy
command line switches. The freeware version has 160 command line switches alone. The /? command
line switch displays the most common XXCopy command line switches, but doesn??™t even
begin to display them all. Go to the Web site at http://www.xxcopy.com/xxcopy01.htm to obtain
a complete listing of the command line switches.
Individuals can obtain and use a freeware version of the standard XXCopy utility without paying
anything. Of course, the vendor is hoping that individuals will see the value of XXCopy and
want to purchase the XXCopy Pro version. Any commercial entity must purchase the XXCopy Pro
version to have a valid license.
