MANAGING WINDOWS IN A NEW WAY 563
Adding Content
At some point, you??™ll want to add content to your Web site. You can perform this task directly in
the \inetpub\wwwroot folder of the Default Web Site. For example, you can use the XCopy utility
to copy existing content from one machine to another. Make sure you use the /S or the /E command
line switch to obtain all of the content for the Web site. The /E command line switch ensures that
you copy any empty folders that you may have supplied to hold data.
As with any other Web server, any applications that you provide on the server can add content
to the Web site. These applications can also store and manage data for you and perform any other
tasks that you might normally expect them to do. Just because Server Core relies on a command line
interface, doesn??™t mean that you should expect anything less from it in the way of content.
