"Administering Windows Server 2008 Server Core"

The 32-bit version of FAT stores
data more efficiently on the large hard drives available

many other media, such as the memory cards used
for cameras.
File Replication Service (FRS)
A service used to copy file system policies and logon
scripts for Windows. In addition, this service can
copy content as needed between servers with the
assistance of the Distributed File System (DFS).
Firewall
Hardware or software (or a combination of both)
used to prevent unauthorized access to a private network.
The firewall can use any of a number of techniques
to detect unauthorized packets and deny
access to them. Some firewalls not only check
incoming packets but outgoing packets as well. There
are many types of firewalls including packet filter,
application gateway, proxy server, and circuit-level
gateway. For maximum protection, the proxy server
normally works best in a hardware configuration.
Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN)
The combination of a host and domain name,
including the top-level domain name. For example,
www.microsoft.com
is a Fully Qualified Domain
Name (FQDN). In this case, www is the host,
microsoft is the second-level domain, and com is the
top-level domain.
