Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)
Used to identify manufacturers that produce some
type of PC hardware. In this case, hardware can
include anything from individual chips to entire systems.
For example, a vendor that designs and builds
display adapters is considered an OEM. An OEM is
normally responsible for writing device drivers and
other software required to use the hardware it sells.

Path Maximum Transmission Unit (PMTU)
A standardized method that two Transmission Control
Protocol (TCP) peers can use to discover the size
of the Internet Protocol (IP) Maximum Transmission
Unit (MTU). This feature helps the peers maximize
performance by using the largest packet size to
transmit data between them.
