Virtual Terminal Windows NT (VTNT)
An emulation of the Telnet Terminal Type Option
standard specified in RFC884. The VTNT emulation
supports a remote Telnet console session by transmitting
display coordinates and character attributes
using structures defined in the Microsoft Console
Application Programming Interface (API).
Volume Shadow Service (VSS)
A service that tracks changes to individual files on
the system. The system can use the shadowed information
to restore the previous state of the file.

system uses resources more efficiently, but that you
also lose a certain level of control over the application
process.
