Instead of paying the merchant directly, the visitor pays PayPal using a credit card or bank
account. The merchant company then uses its PayPal account to get the money received from
the customers. At the time of this writing, no cost is involved in creating a new PayPal account,
and the service is free for the buyer. The fees involved when receiving money are shown at
