credit card information, was necessary in order to process credit card transactions. You learned
how to use cryptographic functions in order to store the customer??™s password and credit card
information safely in your database.
In Chapters 17??“19 you updated your database to keep track of each order using an order
pipeline mechanism and started using customers??™ personal information when storing database
orders.
In Chapter 20 you learned how to process credit card transactions using two companies
that offer merchant accounts, DataCash and Authorize.net.
In Chapter 21 you implemented a basic product reviews feature, which is a feature customers
are accustomed to these days.
Finally, in Chapter 22, you learned how to integrate Amazon.com web services to maximize
the revenues your web site produces. At the end of this chapter, TShirtShop is a modern,
powerful e-commerce store, ready to take on its online competitors.
