If you??™re sending the image via e-mail or preparing it for
a Web site, type 72 in the resolution field, as this is the
resolution of a computer monitor.
TIP
If you increase the resolution of an image, clear the
Resample Image check box. If you try to increase the
resolution of an image with this check box selected,
Photoshop Elements will increase the pixel dimensions of
the image without changing the document size in inches,
and degradation will result. When you clear this check
box, Photoshop Elements does not change the document
size in pixels, but decreases the image size in inches to
reflect the higher resolution.
