8. Save the report and Preview.
In the example just shown, as we are using a object that requires the Libraries' Report
Parameter (the Data element for the Report Title), it is important to add that to the
Report Design first, otherwise BIRT will throw an error. We will resolve the errors in
the following screenshot in the next section.

In the previous example, you will notice that when you preview the report, two
errors are apparent. First, we have the error in bright red telling us that there were
errors evaluating the tag for the URL to the Classic Models logo. The second error is
that the current date is not showing up correctly in the third line of the header. This
would be a problem with all reports that utilized this Library item. Now, we could
fix these in the report themselves; however, the fix would be local to that report only.
We don't want to do that. We would like this fix to trickle down to all reports that are
using these items. In order for that to happen, we need to edit the Library itself.

1. Open ClassicCarsLibrary.rptlibrary from the Library Explorer.
2. Under the Report Items, select hdrGrid. It should become visible in the
Report Design pane.
3. Double-click on the logo hdrLogo in the header to bring up the Editor.
