Dan was the author of LightWave Power Guide,which was the first in a series of LightWave
books that later became the Inside LightWave series. Like Von Kwallak,Mary Knape, and my
college professors, Dan has played a role in advancing my skill set as an artist.He was there
in the beginning, lighting the way for hundreds of artists who now make up the rich talent
pool in the LightWave community. Dan??™s education work can be seen in studios in
Hollywood, the game industry, and many other areas of digital content creation. He has a
solid understanding of how to train artists and has helped many take their first step into 3D.
With every new release of LightWave comes the countdown to Dan??™s book, and Inside
LightWave v9 is no exception. The entire LightWave community has waited for what I??™m
sure will become another must-have resource for any LightWave user. If this is your first
