About the Cover
The Inside LightWave v9 cover image was created in LightWave by William C.Vaughan and
Alejandro Parrilla. Quincy is the star of the cover and was modeled with subdivision surfaces
using the box modeling technique. He has 118 bones and 26 endomorphs used to
pose and animate him. The scene that was used for this illustration uses a basic threepoint
light setup taking advantage of LightWave??™s area lights. Render time for the print
resolution image was just under 14 minutes.
