"Inside LightWave v9"

This will take longer to calculate, but you??™ll
eliminate the noisy render. Essentially, a higher Rays Per Evaluation creates a more
accurate calculation of the rays bouncing around the scene. The result? A cleaner
render. The drawback? Longer render times.
5. Finally, change the Intensity setting to 135% to make the radiosity effect stronger.
Increasing this value increases the strength of the radiosity, which makes the indirect
light stronger.
6. Save your scene by selecting Save from the File drop-down menu or pressing
Ctrl+s. Press F9 to render the current frame. Figure 4.21 shows the render.
Figure 4.21 With a more accurate Radiosity setting, the soft fill is more visible.
The results are subtle, but pleasing just the same. But there are a few more things you can
set up with lighting to make the scene come to life.Next, you??™ll work with a few more lighting
tricks, but then you??™ll make changes to the teacup and you??™ll see how important the
light box is to the scene beyond its radiosity effects.
