8L, attached to a Canon 5D.Very specific, and very cool.
Setting Camera Resolution
After you??™ve chosen the camera you want to work with, Resolution is commonly the first
setting you apply in the Camera Properties panel. This setting determines the width and
height at which images shot through the camera will be rendered. LightWave also will set
the appropriate pixel aspect of your rendered images when a specific resolution is specified.
Note
Rendering is a generic term for creating or drawing an image. This is done in LightWave
by pressing F9 for single frames (Render Current Frame) and F10 for multiple frames
(Render Scene). Press F11 to render the currently selected object only.
The resolution you choose in the Camera Properties panel determines the final output size of
your images and animations. It??™s important to understand that you can set the output resolution
setting in two locations in LightWave v9.You can set it in the Camera properties panel
as you??™ve seen here. But you can also enable the Use Global option in the Camera Properties
panel, and your resolution can then be set in the Render Globals panel, found on the Render
tab.
