Additional Camera Types
You??™ll use the techniques presented in this chapter throughout your LightWave career.
However, LightWave v9 introduces some powerful cameras, allowing you to do things like
make an object a camera, or create a camera based on the exact real-world camera and lens
you specify. The next section introduces you to the different camera types, and you??™ll use
variations throughout projects in this book.
Classic Camera
The Classic Camera has been demonstrated in this chapter. It??™s the default LightWave
camera type, and is primarily used for most projects. You use the Classic Camera if you
want to render any points or lines in your scene. Figure 5.38 shows a shot rendered with
a default Classic Camera.
