"Inside LightWave v9"

If you take a close look at the functions available in the Selection drop-down, you??™ll
see that you can do much more than simply remove channels. You can clear the
Channel Bin, reverse selections, select all curves, and more. Experiment with these
options to get a feel for their uses.
Chapter 6 Principles in Motion 247
4. Back in the Curve Bin, the single Rotation.P channel should be selected since it??™s
the only channel there. You??™ll see it highlighted in the Curve Window.
This represents the motion of the P (pitch) channel for the object. The tall vertical
line is the current frame.
5. Move your mouse over the first small dot (the first keyframe) on the curve for
Rotation.P to see the information for that keyframe (Figure 6.32).
Figure 6.32 Move your mouse cursor over the first dot, which represents the first keyframe
for the pitch (P) rotation motion channel.
The information tells you what curve it is, which in this case is Rotation.P for the
Capsule_1 object. It also tells you the frame number of the keyframe and the
value of the relevant setting at that frame. In this case, the setting value is the
object??™s rotation at frame 0, which reads ??“0 degrees.
