You can replace a
channel with a preexisting one. You can also
save a specific channel??™s properties, which is
useful when you want to save and reuse motions like a flickering light or a rotating globe.
Instead of setting up new keyframes, you can save the channel motion and reload it later.
You also can copy and paste a specific channel??™s motion if you want to create a duplicate.
Other controls include Show Velocity, which you can use to display a visual representation
of the selected channel??™s velocity in the Curve Window; Show Speed, to make the speed
of the selected channel visible in the Curve Window; and Remove from List, to delete a
channel from the Curve Bin.Velocity is a vector quantity, and is the rate at which an object
changes positions. Speed, on the other hand, is scalar and is how fast an object is moving.
