"Inside LightWave v9"

But sometimes it??™s easiest to just copy and paste, as we??™ll
see now.
9. Check the bottom of the Modeler interface to make sure Polygons selection mode
is active (the Polygons button should be white). Then, click the new ABN_Swoosh
object to select it.
10. Press Ctrl+c to copy the object, and then press Ctrl+v to paste. It may appear that
nothing happened, but you??™ve just duplicated the object and pasted the copy on
top of the original. But because you had it selected first, the original, not the copy,
is still the active selection.
11. Make sure your Action Center is set to Mouse in the Modes drop-down list at the
bottom of the interface. Then, press y to activate the Rotate tool (also found on
the Modify tab). Click and drag on the bottom-left corner of the swoosh object
and you??™ll see the duplicate fan out, as in Figure 7.26.
Figure 7.26 Using a copy of the original object, a simple rotation makes the copy visible.
12. Repeat the last two steps to make one more copy of the swoosh, being sure to
rotate it down so there are three objects. Figure 7.27 shows the result.
Figure 7.27 Another copy of the swoosh object, rotated, creates the final design elements.
