10. Select the second row of polygons from the top, as shown in Figure 8.67.

11. On the Multiply tab, select QuickCut 1 from the More drop-down list under the
Subdivide category. The selected polygon will be split in two, and the new points
will automatically be selected.
12. With the points selected, press t to activate the Move tool, and then move the
selected points forward along the Z-axis just a bit, to create a bump in the cloth.
13. Press y and, in the Back view window, rotate the selection slightly (Figure 8.68).

14. Click the Polygons selection-mode button and Ctrl-click each polygon in the row
beneath the row of points you just adjusted to select the entire row.
15. Run the Quick Cut 1 command again, and with the newly created points, move
them back toward the first bump, creating another ripple (Figure 8.69).
