Remember that earlier, you flipped this first initial polygon. You did this so the
new beveled polygons would face outward. That worked well, but now there??™s no
polygon for the front of the object! No worries; this is easy to fix, and you??™ll see
how to create more detail.
If you find that you??™re having trouble beveling in small amounts, press d to open the
Display Options panel, and then set Grid Snap to none in its Units tab.

10. Switch to Edges selection mode at the bottom of the LightWave v9 interface.
Carefully select one edge of iPod object??™s front-panel polygon. You can make the
selection in the Perspective view; changing the view style to Wireframe Shade may
make things easier to see. Confirm that only one edge is selected by viewing the
Sel info in the bottom-left corner of the interface. Figure 9.21 shows the selection.

11. Once the edge is selected, go to the Select
drop-down at the top left of the interface and
choose Select Loop.
