Jump back to Edges selection mode, and as long as you didn??™t deselect it, the edge
loop will be still be selected. Click Extender Plus (in the Multiply tab), as you did
earlier. This will extend the selected edge.
26. Press t to access the Move tool, and in the Top or Left view window, drag the
selected edge about 10mm toward the back of the iPod model. You??™re creating a
recess in the front panel (Figure 9.30).

27. Now, switch to Points selection mode, and the corners of the selected edge will be
selected.With these points selected, press Ctrl+c to copy them. Go to a new layer
and press Ctrl+v to paste.
28. Press d to open the Display Options panel, and from the Backdrop tab, remove the
backdrop reference images. This will help you see the points better in the viewports.
29. Close the Display Options panel, and in the Back view, select the points in order,
from right to left. The reason for this is that the polygon will face forward once
