19. Select the polygons that make up the rest of the face of the model. These are
everything on the face other than the glass polygon you just created. Figure 9.45
shows the selection.
20. Create a surface for the selected polygons. Name them iPod_Face or something
similar. Color it black. Figure 9.46 shows the surface.
21. Now you??™ll select the other polygons to apply surfaces to them. Here??™s a quick and
easy way to do it: Press w to open the Statistics panel.

22. Making sure you??™re in Polygons selection mode, and within
the Statistics panel, click the Surf (surface) listing. Here, you
can see what and how many polygons have surfaces. You can
see the LCD Panel surface, the Glass surface, and so on. Select
Default. These are the polygons without any surfaces. Figure
9.47 shows the choices.
23. If you select the Default listing in the Statistics panel, you can
click the tiny plus sign to the left, as shown in Figure 9.
