10. Once the object is selected, press Shift+h to select the Size tool (it??™s also found in
the Modify tab). Reduce the ball size down to 70%, as shown in Figure 10.5 on
the next page. You can see the value of the size operation in the info area at the
bottom-left corner of the interface.
As you??™re moving around the views and selecting points, remember to zoom in or out
as needed, using the period and comma keys on your keyboard.You can also use the
viewport controls at the top right of each viewport??”just click, hold, and drag.

11. You??™re probably wondering how you??™ll combine these two balls to make a penguin.
You might have figured out that the smaller ball will become the head, but it
needs to blend with the body. Begin by deselecting all of the top ball??™s polygons.
12. Now select the polygons that make up the bottom of the top ball and the top of
the bottom ball. There should be eight polygons on each, as shown in Figure 10.6.
