16. Make any tweaks using the Drag tool, perhaps pulling out the heel a bit in the
Right view, and then save your work.
17. One last thing you can do to the feet area is to drag the belly down for the penguin.
First, turn on Symmetry (Shift+y) and then select the polygon on the right
front side of the body, at the lower belly, as shown in Figure 10.40.
Figure 10.40 Select the bottom belly polygon on the right side of the body, with Symmetry active.
18. Drag the polygon down, giving the penguin a paunch, as shown in Figure 10.41.
Figure 10.41 Pull the selected polygon down to extend the belly.

Chapter 10 Character Modeling 433
19. Save your work.
Again, using simple multiplication tools, along with move, rotate, and drag, you can build
your character with little effort. Sure, the tweaking takes time, and if you ask any professional
3D artist, they might even tell you that a good majority of their creation time is in
the ???tweaking??? process??”the fine-tuning.
Exercise 10.5 Building the Penguin??™s Eyes

be the most expressive, making your character appear happy, sad, or angry.
