19. Now, with the Reflection node selected, set Mode to Spherical Map.
20. Choose Foil.jpg as the image, which you can find on this book??™s DVD in the
Projects\Images\CH11 directory.
21. Click Tint Reflections and set the color to a pale blue.
You can also set a blur to the reflections, change the dispersion, and even increase
the samples. You can leave all other values at their defaults. Feel free to adjust
them and watch the sample sphere within the node to see the effects.
So you??™ve set up a reflection, but how does it hook into the other two nodes?
22. Click and drag the red dot for Color from the Reflection node, and drop it onto
the red dot marked Reflection Shading on the base node. Figure 11.16 on the
next page shows the example.
Figure 11.16 Drag the red dot for Color from the Reflection node to the red dot marked
Reflection Shading on the base node.
23. If you take a look at your surface sample in the base node, it doesn??™t look like
much has changed, does it? So make one more adjustment: Link the green Alpha
output from the Turbulence2D node to the green Reflection input on the base
node (Figure 11.
