The
default Bump Amplitude setting is 100%; set it to something like 200%.
Figure 11.65 The Node Editor set up with a second Image node, attached to multiple inputs
on the destination node.
23. Take the Alpha output of the cloned Image
node and connect it to the Specular input of
the destination node. This takes the high
and low values of the black-and-white
image and uses them for specularity. The
brighter, whiter areas allow more specularity,
while the darker areas do not. Figure
11.65 shows the Node Editor.
24. Open the Camera panel in Layout and turn
on Antialiasing. Do this by selecting PLD
9-Pass for the Anitaliasing settings. Set the
Reconstruction Filter to Classic. Figure
11.66 shows the panel.
25. Antialiasing is important to add in this
scene now because of the bump map. You??™ll
learn more about the AA settings later in
Chapter 15, ???Advanced Cameras and
Rendering.??? For now, press F9 to render
a frame. Figure 11.67 shows the result.
