So while the banana
is rotated and lying flat on the Y-axis in Layout, LightWave remembers its initial
vertical alignment and uses it when applying surface attributes.
15. To increase the size of the node texture, set the X, Y, and Z scales to 6m. Figure
11.76 shows the panel and its settings.

16. Now, take the Color output of the Marble surface and connect it to the Color
input of the destination node, as shown in Figure 11.77.

17. Take a look at your VIPER window. The bananas now have some age spots, as
shown in Figure 11.78. If you were to open the Marble or Crackle properties and
make changes now, you??™ll see them update in the VIPER window because the connection
goes through to the destination node.

18. To add more variety to the banana-skin texture, double-click the Noise node.
Increase the Amplitude setting to 2.
