If you feel that your banana is too dark, open the Marble properties and set the
Opacity to 50%.This will reduce the strength of this node by half.

22. From the Add Node menu, select Shaders,
then Specular, then Blinn. LightWave traditionally
used a variation of Phong shading,
built into the Surface Editor??™s Smoothing
option. But with LightWave v9, you have
new choices, with Blinn among them.
Figure 11.82 shows the shader.
23. After you??™ve added the Blinn node to the
Node Editor, take the Color output from it
and connect it to the Specular Shading input
of the destination node, as shown in Figure 11.83.

24. Disconnect the Specular input on the destination node??”just click on the arrow
to remove it. Then, double-click the
Blinn node sample sphere to open the
properties for it. Change the Color to a
brighter yellow.
