Select Move from the Modify tab (or press t) and move the bone up to the middle
of the body.
6. Click the Rotate tool on the Modify tab (or press y) and rotate the bone so that
the pointy edge is facing up, with a -90 degree Pitch value, as displayed in the info
window at the lower-left corner of the Layout interface (Figure 12.7).

The object??™s Render SubPatch Level does not affect way you see in Layout. It can be
set higher than the Display SubPatch level, perhaps to 6.When the object is rendered,
it will be smooth and subdivided.
When adjusting subpatched objects such as the penguin model, it??™s sometimes easier
to hide surface subdivisions.To do so, set the Display SubPatch Level to 0 in the
Object Properties panel: Select the object and press p.
7. With the single bone selected, press p on your keyboard to open the bone??™s
Properties panel. In the middle of the panel, change the Rest Length to about 1.5m,
as shown in Figure 12.8. This measurement is representational of your Layout Grid
Square Size.
